Lake Living
Many residents’ favorite amenity is our paved Walking Trails. The Leisure Trail on the North side of our community stretches 2.6 miles along the shores of Lake Keowee, providing gorgeous lake views at every turn. Banks of azaleas and wild dogwood line the trail, which is lighted from dusk until dawn.
Pickleball, Anyone?
The nation’s fastest-growing sport of Pickleball is played with enthusiasm at Keowee Key. There are eight state-of-the-art, lighted Pickleball courts and a generous pavilion with spectator seating. The Pickleball Club is a very active group of over 200 players.
Premium 18-hole Golf
Keowee Key’s George Cobb designed championship golf course is completely renovated by Richard Mandell, and re-opened in the Fall of 2019. This 6,426-yard, 18-hole, par 72 course is nearing certification in the Audubon Sanctuary Program.
Everyday is a Lake Day
With Lake Keowee’s 18,500 acres of water and 300 miles of shoreline, boating is a big part of life at Keowee Key. Almost all Keowee Key lakefront homes have their own private docks, and there are five community dock locations with 324 boat slips, all with electricity. Two docks have gas pumps allowing residents on-the-water fuel service.
